In the village center of Salmsach, at Seestrasse 2, Courtyards Immobilien AG completed a development with 20 urban loft apartments and houses by autumn 2022. The innovative living concept offers unique small apartments and terraced houses with 2.5 to 4.5 rooms.
The buildings are arranged in 4 areas around the central courtyard. All units have spacious outdoor spaces in the style of patios, which open up to the smaller, inner courtyards. The visual connections between the residential units were cleverly organized with various structural elements.
All apartments have direct access and attractive interior design. The living spaces are open plan and allow for individual furnishing. Exposed concrete walls, steel beams, steel stairs and floor-to-ceiling windows underline the loft character in the urban industrial style. The common area features underground parking, a central staircase with elevator, a lounge area in the inner courtyard and a whirlpool area.
The new building is ecologically sustainable thanks to its own electricity production from a PV system, rainwater use, thermal insulation according to Minergie-P values and optimized sound and solar heat protection through triple-glazed insulation.
