Nestled on the slopes of the Swiss plateau, between the Broye and Glâne valleys, this farm built in 1750 benefited from two major transformations in 2007 and then in 2018.
The entire building was redesigned using the volume of this traditional farm to enlarge the spaces and modernize the interior architecture.
Thus the living room is a mixture of materials such as raw concrete, wood or waxed concrete creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The ceiling height of 4m accentuated by an integrated wall bookcase and a glass facade gives a feeling of grandeur and space, facing a panoramic view of the garden, the horses and the view overlooking the valley.
The night area offers 2 bedrooms and their shower rooms on the ground floor as well as 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the 1st floor in the east wing.
A large TV lounge and a games room provide a lovely relaxation area for spending pleasant moments with a splendid and unobstructed view.
On the west wing, a mezzanine has been converted into an office and gym but could easily become an additional bedroom or an artist's studio.
Major work on the building envelope as well as the use of an efficient heating system mixed with a surface area of 90 m2 of photovoltaic panels make this farm energy efficient. A resale contract for the electricity is assured until 2032 and allows an income exceeding the amount of charges necessary for the operation of this large building. A high-tech home automation system guarantees the control of the house.
The exterior has now become a room in its own right in our interior living spaces, giving an ambiance to the layout of the garden that has never been so relevant.
There is nothing like a bucolic decoration halfway between rustic, country chic and English cottage styles. This garden gives a delicate spirit to this corner of greenery by putting plants at the center of its layout.
This green cocoon would not be complete without the development of a space for equines, as close as possible to nature where the well-being of the horses is the priority thanks to the creation of a free stabling with paddock paradise, a drained and stabilized paddock in shavings (17mx34m) and access to the parks.
The stable is equipped with a soft bed, a urinal and a heated automatic waterer.
A second building, the rural one, offers the dining area with feeders where the distribution is managed by computer. A curtain opens according to a program to give them access to the hay.
There are 3 grassy parks on the plot but also left to please by the municipality adjoining the stable.
The vehicle parking area consists of 3 covered parking spaces (with electric charging station) as well as several outdoor parking spaces. An access with easement is organized next to the stables for the delivery of fodder and the removal of manure.
