2.5-room flat with 65 m² gross floor area
This convertible holiday flat in a prime location comprises the top floor and the entire attic. It is located in the historic village centre of Törbel, surrounded by the breathtaking Valais mountains. The location is sunny and very quiet, just a few minutes' walk from the village centre (shops, car parks, church, etc.). The balcony is perfect for al fresco dining and relaxing moments. Let yourself be enchanted by the historic character and authentic flair.
The interior of the flat is in quite good condition, considering its age. The house is around 100-150 years old. Some renovations have already been carried out: Kitchen combination, fireplace, windows and bathroom. However, the floor and the roof (1/3 share) are in need of renovation. The façade is old, but well preserved and worth protecting (Valais house). The roof (single roof) is covered with stone slabs. The walls and ceilings are only slightly insulated. The flat has a beautiful Giltstein stove, which was recently overhauled and maintained by a chimney sweep. There is also a wood-burning stove and mobile radiators.
The flat can be purchased immediately as a second home. A cellar and a storage room in the neighbouring building can also be purchased.

Location:
Törbel (Terbil in Valais German) is a municipality and burgher community in the district of Visp with 497 inhabitants. The village centre lies high above the transition from the Mattertal valley to the Visp valley at around 1500 metres above sea level. The village is characterised by its sun-browned houses, narrow alleyways and enclosed architecture.
The Moosalp tourist area is used all year round - in winter as a winter sports area, in summer as a hiking area (e.g. the Moosalp-Jungen high-altitude trail). At the beginning of summer, there is also the Alpaufzug, when over 100 cows are brought up to the Moosalp. This parade is accompanied by cow fights and a small festival.
Törbel has good transport links. A road leads from Stalden to Törbel and on to Moosalp. In summer, Törbel can also be reached via Bürchen or Zeneggen, but only via Moosalp. Regular postbus services connect Törbel with Stalden (with connections to the trains to Visp and Zermatt) and in summer with Moosalp and Bürchen.
