The children go to school in Stalden. They travel together by train to Kalpetran and then take the train to Stalden, or it takes about 12 minutes to get to school by car. There is a village shop at the top station of the Kalpetran-Embd cable car. Here you can find everything from hiking provisions to all the necessary everyday items.
